This policy explains what data Gold Calculator UK collects and how it's used. We aim to collect as little as possible.

What we collect

• Nothing by default for the calculators. All calculations run in your browser. Live prices are fetched from a third-party rate API that receives only a standard web request; we don't send it anything about you.
• Consent choice. Your cookie preference is stored locally in your browser (localStorage) so we don't ask on every visit. It never leaves your device.
• Advertising (with consent). If you accept advertising cookies, Google AdSense may set cookies to serve and measure ads. See Google's policies. In the UK/EEA, personalised ads additionally require Google's certified consent solution.
• Fonts (with consent). With "preferences" consent we load Google Fonts, which involves a request to Google's servers.
• Email alerts / contact (optional). If you submit the price-alert or contact form, your email (and message) is sent to our form processor solely to contact you. It's not sold or used for advertising.

Legal basis

Essential cookies rely on legitimate interest to make the site work. Non-essential cookies (advertising, fonts) are set only with your consent, which you can change any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold (realistically, only an email you've submitted). Contact us to exercise these rights or to complain to the ICO.

Third parties

Google (AdSense, Fonts), our price-data API provider, and our form processor (Formspree). Each has its own privacy policy.
